La Casa de la Calma

Tramuntana Flow is a retreat space that brings together the best yoga facilities and beautiful accommodations in a peaceful environment that helps to restore the mind-body-soul balance through yoga, meditation and nutrition.

La Casa de la Calma, in the pittoresk village of Sa Cabaneta, is a beautiful place of peace that offers you simplicity and comfort. The Zen inspired decoration reflects balance and harmony. The gardens with astonishing views of the mountains and valley offer a wonderful space to relax and read under the shade of palm trees. In the summer guests are welcome to use the large rectangular swimming pool. The spacious yoga shala overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains is equipped with all necessary props. The sound of birds and nature are the background music in Savasana. Read more about the beautiful retreat center here >

Angela Fuster:

When I created Tramuntana Flow, La Casa de la Calma, it was clear to me that I wanted to get involved in social projects, where solidarity plays a major role. I am surrounded by incredible human beings that are always willing to donate their time and expertise to give something back.

When I met Serena Bufalino in March 2016 I immediately felt her enthusiasm and she inspired me to start the First Annual Charity Yoga Retreat at Tramuntana Flow. Over 20 volunteers are supporting this retreat at Tramuntana Flow through their work. All donations in the form of retreat fees go 100% to the Haiti School Building Project and are tax deductable. Official receipts will be provided through Third World Awareness (charitable # 862550886RR0001).

The Haiti School Building Project was born in March 2011 by Toronto’s most at risk population. The project was implemented to build their self esteem and give then a sense of purpose as they give back and help others. The primary goal of the Haiti School Building Project is to fund, construct and establish a safe, well quipped school in Canaan, so the children living there will have the opportunity to learn and gown, just as our students do here in Toronto.

Serena Buffalino started taking Toronto’s most at risk youth and pairing them up with the most at risk youth in the world, Haiti, and through education and learning creating a miracle. Through in class programming and leadership skills The Haiti School Building Project gives youth the opportunity to attend a safe school building and receive an adequate education regardless of their life circumstances and or location on the globe. Their primary goal is to empower youth both locally and globally by showing them they have the potential to bring about great change in their lives and the world around them.
