Nou Horitzó allocated our donation for the payment of educational resources such as books and student fees.
NOU HORITZO – LA SALLE is defined as a service for young people leaving youth centres. This project supports young men and women assimilating social skills and suitable education to find a job and reach a normal adult life. Each young man or woman signs an educational contract committing to carry out this process of emancipation, working on being responsible with the support of a mentor. Young men and women in NOU HORITZO are supported by:
- Accommodation: a single room in a shared home with three other young people.
- Educational resources: student fees, books, certificates, internet, library…
- Mentorship: each young person is assigned a mentor to support their education.

These young men and women are in different educational programs: Degree in Psychology, Degree in Social Education, Degree in Journalism, Formative Cycle of Middle Degree in Dependency Care, Formative Cycle of Middle Degree in Pharmacy and Parapharmacy, and ESO.
